Christmas shopping and shopping Sundays

For gifts, festive clothing and refined ingredients, Leuven is the place to be. In the illuminated shopping streets you will find large fashion chains and trendy little shops. Enjoy the atmospheric music on weekends, and the shops are also open on Sundays.

Shopping Sundays

No Christmas stress this year, because there are shopping Sundays even during winter. And on the shopping Sunday in January, it's the winter sales. The perfect time to grab a bargain!

Most shops in the city centre are open between 13:00 and 18:00 on:

  • Sunday 4 January 2026

Wrapping presents

Have your gift festively wrapped for free.
